Contracting the Ebola pathogen is a death sentence generally.

Kalichman says in a situation like this, technology takes a backseat to empathy.

Mapp Biopharmaceutical, the San Diego business behind ZMapp, only provides nine employees. They dropped to comment for this tale but in a statement on the website say they're trying to make more ZMapp.
